Asset Management

At the core of Boldo’s functionality is asset management—covering applications, processes, data, teams, and more.
This section explains how to create, update, and organise these objects within your inventory.

Whether you're adding a new asset, updating multiple entries at once, or cleaning up your repository, Boldo offers several interaction modes to suit your needs: guided forms, bulk editing, or quick duplication.

1. Create an asset via the modal

  1. Click on “Create asset” to open the creation modal.
  2. Fill in the required field: only the “Name” attribute is mandatory to proceed.
  3. Use the two tabs to define the asset:
    • Properties tab: Set the asset’s key attributes
    • Relations tab: Link it to other assets
  4. Finalise:
    • Click “Confirm” to create the asset
    • Click “Cancel” or outside the modal to exit (confirmation will be requested)

2. Edit an asset via the modal

  1. Click the pencil icon or select “Edit” from the three-dot menu to open the editing modal.
  2. Edit values and relationships in both tabs:
    • Properties tab: Update the asset’s attributes
    • Relations tab: Update its connections
  3. Finalise:
    • Click “Confirm” to save changes
    • Click “Cancel” or outside the modal to exit (confirmation will be requested)

3. Edit assets via “Cell edit mode”

  • Activation / Deactivation:
    • Disabled = standard view (non-editable)

  • Editing methods:

      • Press Enter or Escape to leave the cell
      • Use arrow keys to navigate
  • Saving: Click the “Save” button at the bottom right of the table to apply changes.
