Account Management
What is Account Management?
Your account settings are your personal configuration space in Boldo. They allow you to manage your personal information, security, organizations, and session.
This section centralizes everything related to your user profile and gives you full control over your Boldo experience.
You can access account management from the navigation bar at the top of the screen by clicking the Account Management button.
The 4 Account Management Tabs
Information

The Information tab centralizes the management of your user profile. Here you can configure:
- First and last name: Update your personal details for clear identification within your organization.
- Profile picture: Personalize your avatar to make it easier for colleagues to recognize you.

The maximum size for the profile picture is 50 KB.
These details are visible to other members of your organization and help facilitate collaboration and communication within teams.
Security

The Security tab allows you to strengthen the protection of your Boldo account.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Enable or disable this additional security layer. 2FA adds essential protection by requiring a temporary code from your phone in addition to your password.

Setup steps
To enable 2FA on your account, click the Enable button. You will then have two options:
Option A - Scan the QR code:
- Open your authentication app (Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.).
- Select "Scan a QR code."
- Point your camera at the QR code displayed on the screen.
Option B - Manual entry:
- In your authentication app, choose "Add manually."
- Enter the secret code provided.
- Name the account for easier identification.
Once the app is configured:
- Your app will automatically generate a 6-digit code.
- Enter this first code into the verification field.
- Confirm to finalize 2FA activation.
Daily use
From now on, each time you log in to your account:
- Enter your usual credentials (email/password).
- Open your authentication app.
- Retrieve the 6-digit code generated for this service.
- Enter the code in the requested field.
You can remove two-factor authentication from your account at any time from this same page.I
If you lose access to your two-factor authentication, please contact us at contact@boldo.io.
Some organizations require two-factor authentication. If you try to access such an organization without having enabled this option, you will automatically be redirected to a setup page.
Organizations

The Organizations tab lists all the organizations you belong to:
- Organization list: View all organizations you are a member of and quickly switch between them by clicking the Access button.
You can quickly switch between organizations from any page by clicking on the logo located on the left side of the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
- Role and permissions: Check your status within each organization.
- Administrator: Full access to all features, user and permissions management, and API access.
- Editor: Create views, diagrams, charts, and nested maps. You can also create and edit assets where you have sufficient permissions.
- Viewer: View-only access to existing content.
This feature is especially useful for users collaborating across multiple organizations or managing multiple accesses.
To leave an organization, you must contact an administrator of that organization.
Logout
The Logout button allows you to properly end your Boldo session.
Enhance the security of your account by always enabling two-factor authentication, even if it is not mandatory.
