Archi and Boldo: two different approaches to modeling
Archi is a free, open source and cross-platform tool for creating ArchiMate models. Version 5.9 supports the ArchiMate 3.2 specification. Models are saved locally, and the coArchi2 extension offers sharing and versioning via Git, but its official repository still presents it as experimental and not recommended for production.
Boldo is a SaaS enterprise architecture platform. It organizes assets, their properties and their relationships in a shared knowledge base, with access rights and several types of visualizations.

Reason #1
The Archi project states that the tool is aimed at all levels of architects and modelers, including people who are new to ArchiMate.
Boldo does not require ArchiMate: administrators define the asset types, properties and relationships suited to their organization. Getting started, however, depends on the complexity of that metamodel and on the governance rules.
Reason #2
coArchi2 shares and versions Archi models in a Git repository. This is not real-time SaaS co-editing, and the project currently notes that the extension still has incomplete or unstable features.
Boldo centralizes the inventory in a web application. Real-time collaboration applies to diagrams and process flows; assets have comments and a history. Simultaneous co-editing of the entire inventory is not claimed.

Reason #3
Archi implements the ArchiMate metamodel and lets you add custom properties to elements. It does not, however, offer to freely create new types of concepts or relationships outside the standard.
Boldo lets administrators create asset types, properties and relationship types. This freedom requires governing the evolutions of the metamodel in order to keep data consistent.
